Summer Sandlot Baseball

We are excited to offer a FREE Sandlot League for Baseball.  This gives players a chance to participate in an approved, unstructured, activity that’s sole focus is the enjoyment of the player – kids just playing baseball or softball.

Parent/coaches will be there to ensure that players follow safety guidelines and maintain a positive environment.  Coaches will assist with dividing teams, to ensure a balanced skill level, but then kids make the lineup, choose positions, and play ball!  While many children thrive in a structured baseball and softball environment, there are even more life lessons that can be learned through working with your peers to solve problems, establish leadership skills, and come together to have fun.  We look forward to this opportunity for kids to get some baseball and softball in this summer!

This is open to anyone, so if you know a kid who wants to try baseball or softball in an informal environment, please spread the word!

AAA and Majors will play on Tuesday evenings 5:30-7:00 July 13 - August 3.

Minors will play on Thursday evenings 5:30-7:00 July 15 - August 5.  Players will be divided into small groups and work through drills focusing on fundamentals of hitting and fielding, followed by a coach pitch game.

Players should dress in baseball attire and bring a glove, water bottle and helmet and bat (if they have one).

This league is FREE, players do not need to register if you participated in the spring season.

Feel free to send any questions to [email protected]

This is designed after the Little League Sandlot Fun Days.  Read more here:

Summer Softball Clinics

We are hosting summer softball clinics

These will take place Tuesday evenings at 6:00 at Vets Field on Chenango Street 7/6-8/10

Players will work through drills and scrimmage situations to improve their skills and knowledge of the game.  Tuesday 7/13, 7/20, and 8/3 will focus on pitchers and catchers.  There is no cost or registration required and you can come to one or all of them.  Players should dress in softball attire and bring a glove, water bottle and helmet and bat (if they have one).

Parent volunteers to support and help at these clinics will help make them a success!  Email with any questions!
